What Trump & His Allies Say He Will Do If He Wins Presidency

Former President Donald Trump and his allies have revealed an expansive government reformation plan that could be enacted if the Republican nominee wins the presidency.

Though Trump and his campaign have worked to distance themselves from Project 2025, a detailed plan written by conservative activists for his second term, the former president has shared other radical proposals in his bid for reelection.

These plans include allowing Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who previously compared vaccine requirements to the Nazi Germany era, to "go wild" on the health safety system and letting Elon Musk "start from scratch" with the federal workforce, CNN reports.

“I’m going to let him go wild on the food. I’m going to let him go wild on the medicines,” Trump said of Kennedy during his rally at Madison Square Garden on Sunday (October 27).

On Monday (October 28), Kennedy told supporters that Trump said he would give him power over multiple agencies if the former president is elected.

“The key that I think I’m – you know, that President Trump has promised me is – is control of the public health agencies, which are HHS (Department of Health and Human Services) and its sub-agencies, CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), FDA (Food and Drug Administration), NIH (National Institutes of Health) and a few others, and then also the USDA (Department of Agriculture), which is – which, you know, is key to making America healthy. Because we’ve got to get off of seed oils, and we’ve got to get off of pesticide intensive agriculture,” Kennedy said.

Howard Lutnick, co-chair of the Trump-Vance transition team, told CNN that Kennedy would not be in charge of HHS but would be given access to vaccine data to check their safety.

“He says, ‘If you give me the data, all I want is the data, and I’ll take on the data and show that it’s not safe.’ And then if you pull the product liability (protections), the companies will yank these vaccines right off, off of the market,” Lutnick said.

As far as Musk, the tech billionaire will reportedly be tasked with downsizing the federal government.

“Let’s start from scratch,” Musk said earlier this month in Pittsburgh, signaling a drastic remaking of the federal bureaucracy.

Musk previously noted he could trim $2 trillion in government spending with the help of artificial intelligence and rolling back regulations.

“Musk has promised a gentle touch, offering generous severance packages to laid-off government workers, while at the same time proposing an assessment system that threatens layoffs to wasteful employees,” CNN’s David Goldman previously reported.

More of Trump's plans reportedly include a massive overhaul of the health care system.

On Monday, House Speaker Mike Johnson said at a campaign in Pennsylvania that there would be "no Obamacare" if Trump is reelected.

“The ACA is so deeply ingrained; we need massive reform to make this work. And we got a lot of ideas on how to do that,” Johnson said.
