Summer House star Ciara Miller is finally breaking her silence following the reveal of the secret relationship between her co-stars Amanda Batula and West Wilson.
“It’s one thing to experience hurt behind closed doors,” Miller told Glamour in an interview published Friday (April 17). “To experience it so publicly is like another layer, and then to have to see what you thought was your life still play out in season 10. It’s a major mindf**k.”
Batula, Ciara’s (now former) best friend, and Wilson, her ex, revealed they were romantically involved on March 31, 2026, after weeks of rumors online, according to People.
“We've seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity. It was never our intention to purposely hide anything,” the couple said in a joint statement. “We've shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what's developed recently was the last thing either of us expected.”
Prior to the announcement, an Instagram post from Southern Charm star Austen Kroll — who was previously at the center of a love triangle between himself, Miller, and Summer House co-star Lindsay Habbard — shared on March 29 — further stirred up fan rumors and speculation.
The post included a photo of Batula, Wilson, and Miller having dinner together, with the caption: “Pasta and f**k your friends' exes are apparently so back.” Fans reportedly interpreted this as a nod to rumors about Batula and Wilson that had already been circulating earlier in March.
Miller, who previously dated Wilson during the first season of Summer House before the former couple’s split in 2023, finally spoke out on the announcement during a cover story with Glamour.
“I just never would think that it would come from someone like Amanda, who has been what has felt like in my circle and in my corner for so long,” Ciara told the magazine when asked who she felt the most betrayed by. “I think that’s the craziest part.”
While Batula announced her split from her ex-husband and co-star, Kyle Cooke, after four years of marriage earlier this year, they are still technically married.
Right now, Ciara says she is focused on simply making it to the upcoming cast reunion and getting a better handle on the flow of changes coming her way as she gets older.
“It’s like a weird flow of what you thought the past couple of years of your life looked like, and what you thought relationships were versus what they actually are. It’s tricky,” she told Glamour. “One of my friends was like, ‘You’re going to shed a lot of friends in your 30s, but that’s to gain more clarity.’ And damn, she was right.”
