Conservative singles are now hosting "Good Genes" parties to find their MAGA matches in blue cities.
"Good Genes" parties have emerged as a trend in the conservative dating world as invite-only events to help young, right-wing singles find like-minded partners. Social media footage shows the parties being hosted in liberal-leaning cities, like New York and Washington, D.C., following Trump's efforts to "Make America Hot Again."
The dating events are popping up after Sydney Sweeney's controversial campaign for American Eagle, which referred to the actress, a white woman with blonde hair and blue eyes, having "great genes" as she modeled a pair of the brand's jeans.
Several social media users mocked MAGA singles over the new trend.
TikTok user @ash65871 called the "Good Genes" dating concept "awesome."
“This level of delusional confidence is what I want for every single one of y’all,” she said in a video. “If these are their strongest soldiers, this bodes so incredibly well for us. I say, keep having them.”
In reference to the "Make America Hot Again" moniker, one user joked of right-wing daters: “If they’re talking about their contributions to global warming then… maybe?”
Others said the parties were doing a public service by grouping the “most unappealing” people in one room.
“I hope they continue to throw these events so that all the people who are the most unattractive and most unappealing can all be like sucked out of society at one time and placed into one room together," TikTok user @crazylexxicool said.
Another social media user commented on "how ugly" the attendees of one "Good Genes" party were.
“This girl hosted a ‘Good Genes’ party for conservatives. Look how ugly these people are,” they said.
