Former NBA star turned sports commentator Paul Pierce is going viral after he had a major slip-up on air.

On Monday's (May 13) episode of Fox Sports' Undisputed, Pierce discussed the Indiana Pacers' victory against the New York Knicks in Game 4 of the NBA Playoffs Eastern Conference Semifinals with co-hosts Skip Bayless and Keyshawn Johnson.

Pierce made the slip-up while pointing out Knicks guard Donte DiVincenzo's performance in the first three games of the series.

"In the first three games, look at this n***a, Key," Pierce said to Johnson.

Johnson seemingly didn't react to Pierce saying the N-word while Bayless appeared shocked at the blunder. In a clip of the incident, Pierce appeared to take a heavy breath after the slip-up before he continued to speak.

Social media users joked about Pierce getting fired from Fox Sports over the incident after he was previously terminated from ESPN.

"Paul pierced bout to get fired from his 2nd TV network lmao," one social media user quipped.

"Bro getting too comfortable," another X user tweeted.
